The Caucasian Germander (Teucrium hircanicum) is native to the Caucasus and western Asia. In some regions in Great Britain and in New Zealand it is said to grow wild. Its flowering season in Central Europe can last from June to September, and it grows up to 60 centimeters in height, depending on its location. The flowers are visited by wild bees, honey bees and other insects. In the garden it is suitable for sunny to semi-shady locations.
