Halimione portulacoides

Sea Purslane

Halimione portulacoides is an evergreen, flat or upright growing semi-shrub that can grow up to 80 centimetres tall. It shows its greenish to brownish flowers in Central Europe from July to September. It grows on coasts, in dunes and salt marshes.

I found the plants shown here at the port of Cancale in Brittany.
