Euonymus fortunei cv.

Spindle, Fortune’s spindle, climbing euonymus, winter creeper

Euonymus fortunei is a climbing or creeping evergreen subshrub native to temperate to subtropical Asia. Its shoots can grow to several meters in length.

The many cultivars (cv.) created through breeding are popular as garden plants and differ in height, shape, and color of the leaves. Some grow creeping and flat and are suitable for use as ground cover. However, upright varieties are also available that can be used as hedges.
