Sowing instructions

Carpobrotus acinaciformis is a light germinator, the seeds are only placed on the substrate but not covered with it. They do not need to be soaked before sowing and germinate at 23 to 26 °C after five to ten days.

I used bird sand as the substrate. The glass was covered to prevent the small seeds from drying out.

The location for germination and cultivation should be bright and sunny. As I sowed in winter, I used a 15 watt LED bulb.
