Larger or Hedge Bindweed
Calystegia sepium is a perennial, creeping or climbing plant. Its shoots can grow up to three meters long. Its white flowers bloom in Central Europe from June to September.
Calystegia sepium spreads by seeds and runners. In addition to fences, it also uses other plants as climbing aids. In good soil, it can spread rapidly and overgrow entire fields. This is why it is not particularly popular with farmers.
