Annual or Dwarf or Small Nettle
Urtica urens grows up to 60 centimeters tall and is an annual plant. Its flowering period in Central Europe lasts from April to September. However, in mild regions it can produce two generations per year, meaning that flowering plants can still be seen in December.
Unlike the stinging nettle, it does not spread through runners. The two species can be distinguished not only by the size of their leaves, but also by the shape of their inflorescences. They can be found growing together.

Family: Urticaceae
Origin: Asia, Europe, introduced to North America
