Jasmine nightshade, potato vine, potato climber
Solanum laxum is an evergreen, perennial, climbing plant with woody shoots in the lower part that can reach a length of up to eight meters. In Central Europe, the flowering period usually lasts from June to October.

In mild regions, Solanum laxum can grow in the garden all year round. Some of the shoots freeze in light frost, and the plant cannot tolerate permanent frost and temperatures below 14 °F/-10 °C.
Peat-free substrates for ornamental plants, herbs, or vegetables are suitable for growing in pots. The location can be partly sunny to fully sunny. The pot ball needs to be kept slightly moist. It should only be allowed to dry out slightly, but not completely.
