Russian sage
Salvia yangii is, in fact, a semi-shrub, but is often cultivated as a perennial and cut back after flowering. Depending on the location, the plant, which is usually still known as Perovskia atriplicifolia, can grow up to two meters high and flower in Central Europe from August to October.
