Asian jumpseed
Persicaria filiformis “Lance Corporal” is a garden cultivar that differs from the wild form (Persicaria filiformis) by its particularly pronounced V-shaped leaf pattern.
Notable traits
In climatically suitable regions, Persicaria filiformis may spread invasively in a manner similar to the dreaded Japanese knotweed. This is probably currently happening in the US state of Maryland (source). In Italy, this knotweed seems to have already established itself (source).
