Artichoke cactus
At first glance, Obregonia denegrii looks as if it is related to the echeverias, but it belongs to the cactus family. This is easily recognized by the thorns that sit on the leaf tips. The rosettes can grow up to 5 centimetres high and 15 centimetres wide.
