Melianthus major

Giant honey flower

Melianthus major can reach a height of up to three meters and grows like a shrub. In frost-free regions, it is an evergreen shrub, but in Central Europe, its shoots can freeze and only the roots survive the winter. It cannot tolerate severe frosts or permanent frost.

The green-silvery pinnate leaves can grow to over 50 centimeters in length. The edges of the leaflets are serrated.
