Habitus & biology
Symphoricarpos × doorenbosii is a deciduous shrub with overhanging shoots and grows up to 1.5 metres tall and wide, depending on the location and variety.
The egg-shaped or oval leaves are about one centimetre long. The berries can be light pink, dark pink or white-pink in colour.


Distribution & habitates
Symphoricarpos × doorenbosii does not occur naturally and is used as a low hedge and for planting on slopes and embankments.

Botany
The snowberry (Symphoricarpos × doorenbosii) is a cross between the common snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus) and the Chenault coralberry (Symphoricarpos × chenaultii). It belongs to the honeysuckle family (Caprifoliaceae).
