Habitus & biology
Euphorbia cyparissias is a perennial plant that spreads through runners and can form dense stands. Its shoots grow to between 10 and 30 centimeters in height, it flowers in Central Europe from April to May, and all parts of the plant are poisonous.
The leaves of the sterile (non-flowering) shoots are narrower than those of the flowering shoots.
