Habitus & biology

Erodium cicutarium can grow as an annual, biennial and sometimes as a perennial. The flat to upright flowering shoots grow up to 40 centimeters long or high. The leaf stalks and flower stalks are slightly hairy.

Distribution & habitates

The distribution area is large, covering most European and Asian countries and extending as far as North Africa. As an introduced species, the common stork’s-bill is also found in many North American and South American regions (source).
