Iris foetidissima is an evergreen perennial and grows up to 80 centimeters tall. Its flowers can be yellow, yellow-purple or purple. It flowers in June and July (in Central Europe). The red berries are not edible.
In the garden, Iris foetidissima is also suitable for semi-shady or shady locations.
