Sowing instructions
Herniaria glabra is a light germinator, the fine seeds are only placed on the soil. They germinate quickly; the first cotyledons were visible after four days at 70 °F (21 °C).
They can be sown indoors, on the balcony or in the garden from April (in central Europe).
To prevent the seeds from drying out, the seed pot must be covered.

I used a mix of peat-free herbal soil and bird sand as a substrate, but other mixtures are also suitable.
The location for germination should be bright but without direct sunlight. As soon as all the seeds have germinated, the seedlings can be acclimatized to the sun.
