Pallas bugseed
I discovered the plants shown here at the beginning of September on the beach in Hoorn, in the Netherlands, and identified them as Corispermum pallasii. Unfortunately, the light conditions were not really good that day. It can also be quite windy at the Markermeer, making macro photography difficult or even impossible.
Corispermum marschallii and Corispermum pallasii also look very similar. For a reliable identification, the fruits or seeds in particular are helpful, but unfortunately I cannot see them well enough in my photographs. I have therefore classified the plants as Corispermum cf. pallasii.
The cf. in the botanical name indicates an uncertain identification.
