Betony
Betonica officinalis is a perennial that grows up to 70 centimetres tall and can flower from June to August (in Central Europe). It spreads by short stolons and seeds.
The pictures probably do not show the wild type, they were taken in a park. That’s why I added the “.cv” to the botanical name. It stands for cultivar, i.e. cultivated form. White, purple and pink flowering varieties are available.
