Korean trumpet snail
The Korean trumpet snail originates from South Korea and is said to be found only there (source). According to this source, it is also used as a food snail.
Semisulcospira gottschei is both sexually dimorphic and viviparous. Its shell can grow up to three centimetres long. Unlike other trumpet snails, it does not bury itself in the substrate.
The Korean trumpet snail is diurnal and very active even at room temperature.

The Korean trumpet snail in the aquarium
As already mentioned, the Korean trumpet snail is a diurnal snail and moves around the aquarium all day long. I keep it in a 30 litre tank without any technical equipment.
It does well in a temperature range between 63 and 86 °F (17 and 30 °C).
In addition to fish flakes and vegetarian pellets, it likes to eat blanched cucumber and Chinese cabbage.
