Wasp Beetle
The Wasp Beetle (Clytus arietis) belongs to the longicorns family (Cerambycidae) and can be up to 14 millimetres long. The adult beetles can be seen here in Central Europe from May to July. They feed on pollen and nectar. The eggs are laid in dead wood, on which the larvae feed.
I found the beetle shown here in one of my watering cans and then put it on the balcony. Only to find it on the kitchen floor the next morning.
