Ant Bag Beetle
The Ant Bag Beetle (Clytra laeviuscula) can grow 7 to 11 millimeters long and can be seen as a beetle from May to September. It is native to many European countries, with a range that reaches as far as Russia.

The beetles feed on leaves and are found on dams, embankments, in meadows, parks and gardens.
The larvae live in ants’ nests and protect themselves from the ants by a “bag-like shell”.
