Hawthorn Shield Bug
The Hawthorn Shield Bug (Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale) lives on trees and shrubs. The specimen shown here was discovered on an elderberry bush. This bug can reach a length of up to 18 millimeters. Adult bugs can be seen from April to October.
